A Migori town family has demanded police to arrest a neighbour aged 50 who defiled their four years old daughter.
The unfortunate incident happened at Nyasare estate about two weeks ago.
The girl’s grandmother confirmed the incident.
Migori News witholds her name to save the identity of the minor.
“We have done medical tests and got a P3 form from the police, but they have refused to arrest and charge the man in court,” she said.
The family has accused Migori police of denying them justice.
Grace said the 4 year old girl who was defiled sustained serious injuries and is unable to walk.
“While police officers have refused to arrest him, the suspect has approached us to settle the matter outside court which is an insult to us and the justice system,” she said.
I suspected this could happen & I sent for the child & and was brought to hospital. Is like the police are ready to follow it up. I saw the kid which was not able to walk. Somebody must press the police.
