Migori county has only registered 18,162 new voters, a dismal 14 per cent of 126,446 target set by the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission.
Recent data seen by the Star showed that Kuria West constituency leads out of eight in the county, with Awendo constituency hitting rock bottom.

- Kuria West- 3,161
- Nyatike- 2,995
- Uriri- 2,554
- Suna West- 2,285
- Kuria East- 2,051
- Suna East- 1,957
- Rongo- 1,851
- Awendo- 1,308
- Total= 18,162.
On Wednesday several MCA and ODM officials led by Nestory Owiyo, the assembly Majority Leader and ODM leader Philip Makabong’o said they will use one week to push the numbers up.
