  1. CLINICAL OFFICER -11 POSTS-REF MCPSB/XXX/2018

Requirements and competencies

  1. Diploma in clinical medicine and surgery or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Registration certificate from Kenya clinical officer’s council.

  1. Experience: over 2 years relevant experience in implementing ART and TB services.
  2. Certificate: proficiency in Microsoft office suite.Those with experience in using data analysis software packages such as SPSS, EPi info will have added advantage.
  3. Competencies: PMTCT, Adult and pediatric ART, counseling and testing programs and integrated TB and HIV services is essential.
  4. Excellent interpersonal, people management and team building and facilitation skills.

 

  1. HTS COUNSELOR-8 POSTS-REF MCPSB/XXX/2018

Requirements and competencies

  1. Training in HTS NASCOP certified
  2. 2 years’ working experience
  3. Good report writing skills
  4. Successful HIV proficiency test
  5. Computer literacy added advantage

 

  1. LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST- 4 POSTS

 

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Sciences with 3-5 years’ experience in busy Clinical Lab
  2. Familiar with laboratory ART monitoring: CD4, EID, VL, Gene Xpert and Tb culture.
  3. Phlebotomy skills, Sample networking, operation and maintenance of basic lab equipment
  4. Knowledge on Laboratory safety and waste management
  5. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and basic computer knowledge
  6. Registration with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists/Technician Board (KMLTTB) and valid practice license is mandatory.

 

  1. COMMUNITY LABORATORY TECHNOLOGIST–6 POSITIONS

Minimum Requirements:

  1. Certificate in Medical Laboratory Sciences with 2-3years experience in busy Clinical Lab
  2. Familiar with basic laboratory ART monitoring: CD4, EID, VL, Gene Xpert and Tb culture.
  3. Phlebotomy skills, Commodity management skills: stores management, reporting and monitoring of RTK
  4. Sample networking, operation and maintenance of basic lab equipment
  5. Knowledge on Laboratory safety and waste management
  6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and basic computer knowledge
  7. Registration with Kenya Medical Laboratory Technologists/Technician Board (KMLTTB) and valid practice license is mandatory.
