The Migori county IEBC office met with several aspirants in preparation for August 9 polls.

The meeting was organised at the county headquarters in Migori town.

“We had a fruitful meeting on how best we can manage and get credible and verifiable elections,” governor candidate on Jubilee Party ticket Dalmas Otieno said.

He said as aspirants they raised several issues and concerns which were addressed.

“We now wish for IEBC to have a credible process which can only be achieved by training their officials on integrity,” Otieno said.

Nominated MP and Woman Representative candidate on ODM ticket Dennitah Ghati said they hoped the process will be peaceful.
