Suba MP John Mbadi and Nyatike MP Edick Anyanga’s wife Anne who will vie against Obado at a past function

Nyatike Member of Parliament Edick Omondi Anyanga has told ODM party chairman, John Mbadi to stop talking like a man satisfied after eating cheap food.

The furious Anyanga said it was out of utter disrespect for Mbadi to attack him during a function at Rapogi Secondary School hosted by governor Okoth Obado during his coronation.

“I never knew what cheap food at a sponsored function can do to a sober man, his attack on my person was in bad faith and shows Mbadi has ended up interfering in Migori politics,” he said.

Anyanga said Mbadi has seeking handouts from aspirants which has seen him being at loggerhead in Siaya, Migori, Homa Bay and Kisumu counties.

“Mbadi should know he was never elected anywhere to be a chairman and his constant character of attending functions hosted by Obado to insult other leaders in Migori shows a corrupt person. His character puts other aspirants in bad shape,” Anyanga said.

Speaking at Lwanda Konyango center during a football tournament organised by CDF kitty, Anyanga said Mbadi is a mole being used by the office of Deputy President William Ruto to cause havoc within ODM.

“Mbadi received the NYS loot and when he was in Budget committee he received over Sh100million from the Jubilee government, we know him for his corrupt dealings and we will expose him soon,” he said.

Anyanga said he only respects Cord leader Raila Odinga and warned Mbadi to start concentrating on how to repair poor roods in his constituency and best way to be defeated by Caroli Omondi.

His remarks were supported by NyatikeODM youth and women leaders Ouma Biu and Dorothy Otieno respectively who claimed Mbadi constant attendance of function by Obado shows he was already bought by the incumbent.

“Mbadi should tell us when Obado paid nominations fee for ODM in 2017, his continue association with a PDP member shows he is auctioned to the highest bidder,” Biu said.

He was reacting to remarks by Mbadi is reported to have said that an area Member of Parliament in Migori County has been interfering with the party nomination since 2007.

Mbadi added that Nyatike Constituency must have free and fair nominations next year accusing Anyanga of being behind most leaders in the constituency for not getting elected in ODM.

“It was never my problem when ODM gave two aspirants in Nyatike the certificate, in fact Mbadi should explain how he allowed Jubilee to get over 2,000 votes in his constituency in last polls,” Anyanga fumed.
