Loan officer disappears while collecting dues from Masara traders, family cries for help

A family in Masara town, Suna West sub-county have called for help to locate a member who was reported missing on Tuesday evening.

Sharon Achieng’ Ojwando, aged between 22-23 years and a mother of two years old child works in money lending business to traders in Masara town.

Her sister Jamila Aoko Ojwando said her sister had left home at about 6pm to go collect money from several traders who confirmed she was with them before she was last seen at 7:30pm.

“She is always home latest by 830pm and earlier she had complained that suspicious people have been following her,” Jamila told Migori News.

She was last seen wearing a cream t-shirt and a black trouser. Her phone number is 0726 085 986

She said alarmed, they reported the matter to police station after checking hospitals and morgues in the area without fail.

“We were afraid she might have been involved in an accident, and when we turned negative we thought we should report to police and have public help us trace her,” she said.

Frank Odero, Sharon’s co-worker said after making day calculations and mapping out clients who were to repay their dues, she had passed by home after complaining of cold before proceeding to collect the dues.

“She left her phone at home which has made tracing her to be hard,” Odero said.
