Samson Owuor Ogallo, the Migori governor aspirant on Independent ticket

Migori governor candidate on Independent ticket Sammy Ogallo has said he choose the cotton wool symbol because he will bring residents untainted leadership.

Ogallo, a communication expert based in USA said he offer leadership which is free of violence, corruption and thuggery that has maimed the county since onset of development.

“So far youths who are the future have become poorer and poorer and fought against each other even slashing themselves to death, while the elected leaders have enriched themselves with golden beds, new homes, new hotels, tracks of land in cities,” he said in a FB post.

He faulted fellow Independent candidate and former cabinet minister Ochilo Ayacko for failing to prudently account for CDF use when he was MP for Rongo.

“Bursary money was only given to close relatives, CDF money couldn’t be accounted for, schools in Rongo were never connected with electricity,” he claimed.

He termed Okoth Obado as the “outgoing governor” when he will take over on August 8.

“Jo migori time has come when we need to wake up, we need a leader with integrity, a leader for all, a leader who has people’s interest at heart and that leader is me,” he said.
