Rongo MP Paul Abuor has called for calm from his constituents following an accident he was involved in yesterday.

In a message on his Facebook handle, Abuor confirmed that he was was fine.

“I would wish to assure all my constituents, friends, relatives and colleagues that am fine following yesterday’s evening road accident that I was involved in along Nairobi -Naivasha Highway while returning from my Constituency.
I have undergone medical examination and the Doctors have confirmed I only have some soft tissue injuries.
My Driver and bodyguard together with my aide are also out of danger.
Thank you all for your get well messages and prayers.
