Okeyo explained that the president elect had a good manifesto and all Luo’s should have confidence in his leadership.

The youth leader said they had seen what was in the manifesto and Luo Nyanza was going to be a big beneficiary of the presidency.

According to Okeyo, Ruto’s presidency will make the economy better for all Kenyans and hustlers will be able to make Ksh. 12,000 or more, which is double what Raila Odinga had promised vulnerable groups.

He said that Migori should be the last to speak against Ruto being declared president since the region, for the first time under the new constitution, was going to get a post of Cabinet Secretary.

Okeyo urged members of the luo community who are the majority in Migori County to maintain peace and accept a William Ruto Presidency.
