Kileleshwa MCA Elias Okumu has finally secured the DAP-K ticket for Suna East MP race despite last minute attempt to derail his bid.

“I am safe and dry to bring change in Suna East in the August 9 polls, my vehicle will be DAP-K,” Okumu said.

In the last polls, Okumu started off campaigns to unseat Junet Mohammed and was called on to slow down and defend his seat.

“This time I am set to unseat Junet and finalize dreams Suna East voters had for development, we have been behind for the past decade,” Okumu said.

He said when he bolt out of ODM and went to DAP-K anti-development agents in Suna East tried to block his bid.

“Kanduyi constituency where Wafula Wamunyinyi, DAP-K luminary will vie there is an ODM candidate all under Azimio la Umoja. Suna East is not special,” Elias said.

ODM party has offered Junet direct ticket to defend his seat and his rivals have been digging deep to unseat him ahead of the race.
