CORONAVIRUS: Odette first county MCAs to distribute over 2,500 face masks to Wiga residents

Wiga MCA Albert Odette, has come out as a trailblazer in the current county assembly by distributing over 2,500 face masks to residents as a bid to fight coronavirus.

Odette through a team of volunteers in his ward in Suna West constituency has distributed the masks, from his personal donation, water points, gloves and soaps.

“We are living in a time where we have to join hands to help fight coronavirus, while national and county government is still mapping out distribution points we started off,” Odette told the press in Migori town.

The second time MCA said already boda boda operators in Mukuro, Masara, God Kweru and other centers have benefitted.

“We also have special round of distribution to shop keepers and people who interact frequently with customers in their premises for distribution,” Odette said.

He urged Migori residents to comply with government in measures placed against the virus.
