Rameny FM senior Linus ‘Jakochomo’ Ombima has been attacked by thugs as he left studio in Rongo town on Thursday evening.

Jakochomo managed to call Rongo police who used a police vehicle to rush him in a local hospital in Rongo.

His colleague in Rongo town, Sky FM reporter in Migori town Moses Tello of Sky FM said after being rushed to a local hospital by a police van, he was referred to Homa Bay county.

“He has been rushed to Homa Bay for referral services and we hope he is steady, Tello is out to be with him in Homa Bay,” Migori Journalists Forum chairman George Juma (Ramogi FM) said.
