The office of the late Migori senator Ben Okello and his family have thrown their weight behind ODM candidate Ochillo Ayacko ahead of by-elections slotted for October 8.

The move is a blessing to Ayacko as Okello’s office holders led by his office manager Richard Solo, former North Kamagambo MCA and Director of Communication Walter Ogudah has formed key role in his campaigns.

The two, and Okello’s son Willis Okello and his cousin Mark Okundi, both who vied in ODM nominations have supported his bid.

“ If you supported the late Hon. B.O.O  and/or sympathized with his early rest, you are humbly requested to cast your vote for  Ayacko on Monday 8th 2018,” Oguda posted in a press statement.

Oguda said the was the “official position of both his family and staff.”

Solo on his part has been best voice on giving Ayacko crucial votes from Okello’s supporters by pointing out the ODM party position and the need of strong senator candidate.

“Okello was financially sponsored by the governor which made him a weak senator, I know this since I was in his office. We now need a stronge articulate senator,” Solo said.
