Abagusi Communnity Living In Kuria Vow To Support Raila

Abagusii community living in Kuria land of Migori county have thrown their weight behind Azimio presidential candidate Raila Odinga.

In a meeting held at the Isebania border town, the over 300 members led by Nyanguto Openda and Samwel Njege today said they will vote Odinga to the last man in the coming elections.

Openda said the Abagusii’s vote basket is significantly huge and called on leaders to speak with one voice for their fair share of the national cake. 

Principal Secretary, State Department for Social Protection, Senior Citizens Affairs and Special Programmes Nelson Marwa on his part assured Kenyans that police were adequately prepared to discharge their duties in the course of the electoral cycle.

Speaking during the same declaration event, Marwa warned all those hell-bent on acts of criminality and lawlessness to refrain from crime.

He said that the government is prepared to handle all forms of threats to election security before, during and after the elections.
