“The situation of Suna East has been trailing in the past decade compared to Suna West which went much ahead when Migori constituency was divided,” Odhiambo said.

He said he was born and brought up in Suna East and the push for change “saw elders and voters approached me to join and bring sanity and equity of distribution of employment and development.”

“For a decade Junet has done nothing, our infrastructure in schools are pathetic. Kakrao Mixed Secondary school bus couldn’t leave the institution for over a year over bad roads, we still have mud classes at Mabubi Primary School in Nyabisawa.”
