VACANCY: Sales Representatives (3 Posts)
Migori News seeks to recruit experienced and self-motivated Sales Representatives in the Advertising Department.
Reporting to the Managing Editor, the ideal candidates will have the overall responsibility of initiating and executing sales to generate revenue majorly for newspaper production and website, while promoting and developing effective advertising solutions for current and potential customers, mostly based in Migori County.
They will also be required to demonstrate ability to sell creative and innovative advertising solutions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain existing customers while identifying new advertising markets;
- Explain to customers how newspaper and website advertising will help promote their products or services in the most effective way possible;
- Provide clients with estimates of the costs of advertising products or services, and collect payments due;
- Process all correspondence and paperwork related to accounts;
- Obtain and study information about clients’ products, needs, problems, advertising history, and business practices to offer effective sales representation and appropriate product assistance;
- Inform clients’ of available option for advertisement artwork, and provide samples to protect and increase existing base.
- Deliver advertising or artwork proofs to clients’ for approval;
- Strong focus on continuously meeting and exceeding sales goals on a monthly basis;
- Work directly in the field to research and cultivate leads to build a strong pipeline of revenue growth;
- Work with creativity
and under minimum supervision.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Certificate in Business, Communication or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Computer literate
- Experience in sales will be highly regarded
